Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ChatForge, operated by AI Edge 247 ("we," "us"). By using ChatForge, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

ChatForge is an AI-powered chat agent platform that allows businesses to deploy custom AI chatbots on their websites. We provide the infrastructure, AI processing, and management tools.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use ChatForge.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use ChatForge for illegal activities or to facilitate harm
• Upload malicious content, malware, or harmful code to agent knowledge bases
• Attempt to bypass usage limits or security measures
• Resell or redistribute the service without an Agency plan
• Use agents to impersonate real individuals without authorization
• Generate spam, phishing content, or misleading information
• Overload our systems with automated or excessive requests

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Monthly Plans: Billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period. No partial refunds for unused time.

Lifetime Deals: One-time payments that grant permanent access to the purchased tier. Lifetime deals are subject to a 60-day money-back guarantee. After 60 days, lifetime deals are non-refundable. Lifetime access continues as long as ChatForge operates.

Free Tier: Limited to 50 conversations per month and 1 agent. May be modified at our discretion with 30 days notice.

5. Lifetime Deal Terms

Lifetime deal codes are:

• Transferable: You may give unused codes to others
• Non-stackable: Each code activates one plan (not additive)
• Upgradeable: You may upgrade between LTD tiers by paying the difference
• Refundable within 60 days of purchase

If ChatForge discontinues service, lifetime deal customers will receive: (a) 90 days advance notice, (b) full data export, and (c) agent configuration export.

6. Data Ownership

Your Data: You retain ownership of all content you provide (knowledge bases, agent configurations, business information). You retain ownership of all conversation data generated through your agents.

Our Service: We retain ownership of the ChatForge platform, including all code, design, and infrastructure.

AI Outputs: Responses generated by your AI agents belong to you. We claim no ownership of AI-generated content.

7. Usage Limits

Each plan has defined conversation and agent limits. Exceeding these limits will result in your agent being paused until the next billing cycle. We will notify you at 80% capacity. Upgrading restores service immediately.

8. Uptime & Availability

We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime caused by our infrastructure providers (Vercel, Supabase, Anthropic), force majeure events, or scheduled maintenance (announced 24 hours in advance).

9. Limitation of Liability

ChatForge is provided "as is." We are not responsible for:

• Accuracy of AI-generated responses
• Lost revenue from agent downtime
• Actions taken by website visitors based on AI responses
• Third-party service outages (Stripe, Anthropic, etc.)

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Refund Policy

Monthly subscriptions: No refunds for partial months. Cancel anytime to stop future charges.

Lifetime deals: Full refund within 60 days of purchase. No questions asked. Email cal@aiedge247.com.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with 30 days notice via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States.
